Summary :
This SAP Note addresses the transition from the classic RFC library to the SAP NetWeaver RFC Library, post SAP NetWeaver 7.10. The classic RFC SDK and library will no longer be supported following the end of maintenance for SAP Releases up to 7.20 after March 31, 2016. The note explains that the new Kernel 720 supports only the RFC library 7.20 which remains compatible with both Unix and MS Windows platforms, allowing communication through older and newer R/3 Systems. For additional required libraries and downloading instructions, see detailed references within the note. It also highlights versioning check processes and available patches for the RFC library.
