A customer issue necessitates the establishment of a service connection, however, Support encounters issues when attempting to connect. This connection error is due to an incomplete or inactive saprouttab entry on the customer's SAProuter. The error messages received are “route permission denied” and are located at the customer's SAProuter. To resolve this, verify the saprouttab settings according to guidelines found at http://service.sap.com/access-support. Further information on setting SAProuter and managing secure credentials can be found in SAP Note 508140. This measures should restore the required service connection capabilities efficiently.
