Summary :
When using EP6 SP2, NW04, or NW04s portals on Windows XP SP2 or Windows 2003, opening appintegrator iViews in SSD mode results in a popup asking to open or save a '.ssd' file. This issue begins with EP6 SP2 PL 31 due to an extension change in URL to ".ssd". Newly imposed security constraints on XP SP2 and higher trigger this behavior. Solution steps include installing updates specified in provided SAP Notes or altering browser and system settings, such as disassociating the 'ssd' file type or unchecking security settings that prompt file handling confirmations.
