Summary :
This SAP Note addresses the impact of time conversions between standard time and daylight saving time on SAP systems. When local time changes suddenly, inconsistencies can arise, including ZDATE_LARGE_TIME_DIFF runtime errors, issues with cyclical background jobs, and inconsistencies in backup operations and timestamp-dependent processes. SAP recommends ensuring all local time zones in the active system are identical and synchronized to the second. Restart the SAP system if significant time changes occur. To minimize downtime during conversion from daylight saving time to standard time, refer to Note 102088 and consider the operational requirements of your applications.
