Summary :
BR*Tools 7.20 EXT, released in August 2011, is functionally identical to its standard counterpart but is compiled in the SAP Extended Kernel 720 environment. This version supports higher operating system versions and uses different compilers than the standard version. Minimum OS versions for the EXT are AIX 6.1, HP-UX 11.31, Solaris 5.10, Linux (SLES11/RHEL6/Oracle Linux 6), and a special Windows C runtime. Lower OS versions trigger loader errors due to incompatibility. BR*Tools 7.20 EXT links to Oracle client 11g, optimized for use with both Oracle server and client 11g.
