Summary :
This SAP Note addresses issues with BR*Tools on Unix platforms for Oracle 11g users. The first problem obstructs starting BR*Tools due to missing symbolic links causing severe application errors like 'symbol lookup error' and 'cannot open shared object file'. The solution involves creating a symbolic link between libnnz11.so and libnnz10.so in the $ORACLE_HOME/lib directory. The second problem concerns the BRCONNECT statistic function which fails due to client incompatibilities. Updating to Oracle Instant Client 10.2.0.4 or higher is recommended. For non-extensive BR*Tools version 7.20 users, an additional symbolic link from 11x_64 to 10x_64 is necessary.
