Normally, SAP’s installation or upgrade tools cater to this requirement by installing the appropriate C-runtime. However, if a kernel is manually downloaded as an SAPEXE.sar archive, users must install the requisite C-runtime themselves using vcredist_XXX.msi found within the extracted archive. This process is critical for the proper execution of SAP systems on Windows.
