Summary :
During the installation, you must specify your character set as indicated in the syslog CP2 with errors like "Table TCPDB contains ... entries" or related messages suggesting that TCPDB is not maintained or contains incorrect data. Key elements include RSCP0004, MDMP, TCPDB, RSCP0001, and others. Refer to Note 42305. Execute report RSCPINST if needed. If RSCPINST is unavailable, use RSCP0004 to manage TCPDB. Choose compatible character sets (EBCDIC for AS/400, ASCII for Unix/NT). Maintain entries correctly, especially from Release 3.1H and 4.0A. Manage incorrect entries via RSCP0004, or through SQL deletion during system downtime. For MDMP systems, see Note 73606.
