Title
Exclusion of characteristics for type matching and configurationcomparison (serial number)

Purpose
You use this program to select the characteristics (with or without amaterial number) that the system should not take into account for theconfiguration comparison (serial number) and type matching. In thelists, you can then mark the characteristics for exclusion in therelevant application.
The system stores the selected characteristics in table CABN_EXCL.

Integration
This table is read during type matching or the configuration comparison(serial number). Only those characteristics are then permitted in therelevant application that are not stored in this table, or if they arestored in this table, are not marked for exclusion from thisapplication.

Features

Selection
The selection of characteristics can be influenced by means of thematerial number or the characteristic name.

Output
The selected object characteristics can be made visible and thereforeavailable for editing in the list display by means of a function key.
The characteristics that are already stored in the database arehighlighted in the list display.
