Summary :
This SAP Note addresses the issue of handling bank account numbers exceeding 18 digits, typical in certain countries, within the R/3 System where such long numbers are truncated in standard fields. This limitation impacts payment transactions listing, which often require full account numbers. Resolutions include using function module CONVERT_BANKAINK_ACCOUNT_NUMBER in SAP Release versions 3.1I and 4.5A to reformat these numbers appropriately across specific reports and includes such as RFFORI07 and RFZALI00. A hot package remedy is also available for Release 4.0B, and source code modifications in RFZALI00 as per Note 109948 may alter the implementation.
