When planned orders are compared using the delta report in SAP APO, error /SAPAPO/CIF 161 may surface, indicating a non-existent end date discrepancy. This issue arises particularly when operations are absent in planned orders within APO, or when the date reconversion setting in transaction /sapapo/cp3 is turned off or improperly configured. The problem may also occur without proper distribution definitions in APO. Note 770838 has been implemented but may not address underlying configuration or operational absences. Implement the correction instructions provided in this note to rectify this issue. Ensure that all related configurations, including those for in-house production, are accurately maintained.
