Summary :
Web Dynpro applications experiencing issues with Interactive Forms and Office Integration may be missing the necessary front-end components from the Active Component Framework (ACF). To rectify this, ensure ACF components are installed on the user's PC. Despite earlier practices, manual ACF installation via explicit executable files (xACF.exe) is no longer available. Current protocols require ACF installations to be performed automatically via software updates from the Web Dynpro server. Further prerequisites include running on a minimum of Windows 2000 and IE 6.0, with necessary settings to enable ActiveX and ActiveScripting. Additionally, the SAP environment should have corresponding ACF binaries and Reader versions configured. If the components were previously installed, uninstallation might be needed before re-installation can proceed.
