Summary :
This SAP Note addresses the validation of Mexican CLABE bank accounts, mandatory for correct bank transactions compliance in Mexico. Featuring an 18-digit format, the CLABE structure specifies allocations for bank and branch identification, followed by the bank account details and a check digit. Internal transactions require only the 11 digits of the bank account number. The Note directs the creation of a function module through SE37 for checking these accounts (FI_CHECK_BANK_ACCOUNT_MX). Additionally, it sets forth instructions for activating business event 00003000 using transaction FIBF and configuring relevant settings in OY17 to enable necessary checks and maintain system integrity and compliance as per the Mexican legal requirements effective since 2003.
