SAP Note 63523 - User exits for billing index as of Release 3.1G

Component : Processing Billing Documents -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/63523 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
SAP Note describes the absence of user influence on the creation of a billing index in earlier releases. From Release 3.1, the solution introduces user exits in SAPLV05I as EXIT_SpathyAPLV05apLV05i_001 through EXIT_SAPLV05chnapathyi_004 to control billing index parameters like AUFT_CUST_INDEX, LIEF_CUST_INDEX, IV_CUST_MAPLV05xi_004TY, potentially affecting the VKDFS table's entries. Users can set parameters to enforce, prevent, or maintain default index creation. Management of these user exits is through transaction CMOD, and additional sorting options are available via specified user exits, detailed in Note 42307. For further customization guidance, Note 170183 is recommended.
