Summary :
SAP Note addresses issues with transaction VL32 or VL32N where the status of inbound deliveries remains "Fully delivered" even after a return delivery via MBRL, causing discrepancies in MRP-relevance. It is outlined that this status paradox occurs because there is no linkage in Logistics Execution between the original and the returned deliveries. The solution proposed establishes a connection by updating purchasing documents with return delivery impacts, visibly aligning them in both purchasing and Logistics Execution systems. Changes involve backend adjustments, such a restructuring database elements and code enhancements, along with executing specific transactions such as SE11 and SE37. Implementations from steps 1 to 19 should be done manually or via Support Packages, while activation and further usage are outlined in steps 20 to 22. Post-implementation, return deliveries will affect MRP-relevant data and hit purchasing documents correctly.
