Summary :
As of APO Support Package 18, changes in planning behavior concerning downtimes can be made using BAdI /SAPAPO/CRESDOWNTIME. Standard finite scheduling positions activities directly before or after downtimes without allowing mid-activity interruptions. Implementing the BAdI changes this, enabling an activity to be interrupted and extended during a downtime, continuing post-downtime. This functionality does not apply to infinite scheduling or during the creation of new downtimes. Proper implementation involves adjusting resource capacities and re-saving resources in liveCache for changes to take effect.
