SAP Note 43919 - CJ40: 'Total up' gives wrong values

Component : Costs -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/43919 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
In SAP project systems, the "Edit --> Total up" function currently cannot differentiate between manually-input values and automatically-calculated ones in higher-level WBS elements during planning. This results in overwriting specifically set planning values when totaled. To work around this, values that are to be exclusively preserved at the higher level should be added using alternate planning methods such as cost or revenue element planning, or unit costing. The currently designed behavior of "Total up" consistently overwrites higher-level WBS element planning values, irrespective of their initial calculation method.
