SAP Note 384971 - System parameters for high interface load

Component : Backoffice Service Delivery -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/384971 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
In response to error messages and terminations due to a high ALE/RFC and terminal connection load, SAP recommends checking and adjusting system parameters to handle increased interface loads. Essential configuration adjustments include setting `rdisp/tm_max_no`, `rdisp/max_comm_entries`, `gw/max_conn`, and related parameters to adequately higher values, taking into account the operational limits of 32-bit systems. Additionally, memory management must be optimized by reevaluating parameters like `rdisp/appc_ca_blk_no` and `rpassed/wp_ca_blk_no`, using transaction ST02 for guidance. For detailed parameter calculation, refer to SAP Note 32231, ensuring that system resources are not overly strained and that memory and shared memory settings are appropriate for the updated parameters.
