Summary :
During the initial download of the DNL_CUST_PROD1 Customizing object in SAP CRM, users might face inconsistencies between the logical systems of existing hierarchies and the R/3 system issuing the data, leading to errors stated in Transaction SMQ2. This primarily occurs when the CRM system’s logical system is not aligned with the R/3’s from which data is sourced, often following a system name change or using a different OLTP system for subsequent downloads. Solutions include adjusting hierarchy settings in COMM_PRAPPLCAT, setting tables to inactive in R3ACa3 for EBP systems, and ensuring identical product hierarchy structures in CRM and R/3 systems to facilitate downloads from multiple backend systems, especially pertinent from CRM 4.0 onwards.
