Summary :
When altering the posting date of held or parked documents to a different fiscal year in SAP, users may encounter errors such as F5151 ("Incorrect doc.no.: Select document number between & and &") and FF568 ("Fiscal year & not allowed"). This issue arises when document types dictate the follow-on FI document number to match the MM document number, coupled with a fiscal year requirement for posted documents. A correction now enables the Auto-generation of a new document number for the fiscal year change, where previously unchanged numbers created errors. If "FI document number is the same as MM document number" was not activated, these issues did not occur. Post-correction, documents must be saved before posting to align with the new fiscal year. This solution is available in Release 5.0 and Support Package for 4.6C, and adjustments are necessary for full functionality.
