As of Release 4.0A, a new authorization check standardizes controls across subfunctions like planning, maintenance, and reporting. These checks use authorization objects like K_REPO_CCA, K_CCA, K_REPO_OPA, K_ORDER, and K_ABC, each restricting authorizations by activity, controlling area, responsibility area, CO action, and cost element. Switching to new checks requires assigning 'ALL authorization' for old objects and managing new authorizations.
