Summary :
This SAP note discusses issues and limitations associated with implementing RTL (Right-To-Left) languages beyond Hebrew, Arabic, Urdu, and Farsi, such as Dhivehi using the Thaana script, in various SAP systems including ABAP and C kernel environments, SAPGUI, Portal, and Web Dynpro for Java. As of now, these languages and scripts are not fully supported, with only some workarounds mentioned, such as manually switching SAPGUI to RTL mode and using known RTL language keys for document creation in SAPscript and Smartforms. Issues persist in Adobe Interactive Forms and automatic UI adjustments in Portal and Web Dynpro for Java.
