Summary :
SAP Note addresses the absence of documentation for redirecting exchange rate type M to 'EURX' for currency combinations involving EMU participants and non-participants since release 4.0A. Companies needing to conduct transactions with non-EMU countries can use two methods: existing direct rates between EMU participants and non-participants or the new exchange rate type 'EURX' using EUR reference. Detailed configuration instructions and necessary updates for effective translation are specified, including setup of translation factors and handling indirect quotation exchanges related to the euro from Release 4.6 onwards.
