Summary :
When attempting to remove a request from the PSA directory in SAP, the request may still appear in the actual PSA table due to the persistence of data. This happens because deletions in partitioned PSA tables (supported by ORACLE, DB2, MSSQL) are handled logically; the deletion flag is set in RSTSODSPART, but the data remains physically in the PSA table. Physical deletion occurs only if all requests in a partition are logically deleted, through partition truncation or dropping. This behavior ensures data integrity and is manageable via PSA support tools per consulting note 1150724.
