Summary :
When using SAP Exchange Infrastructure for processing asynchronous messages with the qRFC (Queued Remote Function Call) method, it may occur that messages are scheduled in queues but not processed, as shown in SMQ2 with the status "Running" without corresponding active work processes in SM50. Message processing delays can be addressed by ensuring the QRFC Inbound Scheduler configuration (refer to Note 369007) and system resource allocation for TRFC/QRFC are properly managed. Additionally, verify queue registration in SXMB_ADMIN and queue execution with RSQIWKEX report adjustments (Note 1259511). For performance optimization, review the SAP Exchange Infrastructure Tuning Guide from the marketplace.
