Summary :
MaxDB Database Studio is available for Microsoft Windows and Linux platforms to facilitate database management and operations. It supports MaxDB databases from Version 7.5 and enables remote access across all released platforms, provided that Java Runtime Environment Version 5 is installed. While new functions in MaxDB-/liveCache in Support Packages are not supported by older versions of Database Studio, users are advised to use the current version to ensure compatibility. Notably, installation on SAP application servers may uninstall existing application runtimes, causing issues with CCMS transactions. Instructions for installation include downloading from SAP Software Center and using SAPCAR tool for unpacking.
