SAP Note addresses issues with Alternative Valuation Run (AVR) price determination, where some materials show incomprehensible cumulative transfer prices due to redundant fallback strategies replicated from periodic actual costing (transaction CKMLCP). Detailed in Note 579216, the fallback commonly employs the previous period's average moving price improperly as a new period's transfer price, which might be undefined or irrelevant. Attached patches correct this by excluding the previous period’s price as a fallback in AVR, enhancing accuracy in material price determination processes involving CKMLCPAVR, CKMH, ACTCLOSE, and related functionalities.
