Résumé :
Depuis la version 7.00 de SAP, le service "sapstartsrv" a remplacé l'interface DCOM "SAPControl" par un nouveau modèle de service web pour améliorer la gestion du moteur J2EE. Les problèmes identifiés comprennent des dysfonctionnements sur diverses plateformes telles que Linux, Solaris et Windows, des plantages fréquents du service, des redémarrages incorrects de l'environnement, des échecs d'autorisation et des interfaces de service web non réactives. Les problèmes incluent également des fuites de descripteurs, des rapports de statut système incorrects et des problèmes de visibilité des objets de tâche dans perfmon, entre autres. Il y a également des difficultés notées avec les authentifications utilisateur, les analyses de fichiers journaux et les alignements avec les inscriptions LDAP. Des améliorations de la sécurité de l'interface de service web et plusieurs défis opérationnels avec les environnements UNIX et HA soulignent le besoin de correctifs et de mises à jour spécifiques.
