This SAP Note addresses the management and scheduling of system reorganization jobs essential for maintaining the operational efficiency of SAP R/3 systems. For versions from Release 4.6C onwards, scheduling these essential jobs, such as deleting outdated jobs or spool objects, can be efficiently done using Transaction SM36 and selecting 'Standard jobs'. However, for versions preceding Release 4.6C, these jobs need to be scheduled manually. The note details the required programs, parameters, and recommended scheduling intervals. Naming conventions are suggested to facilitate easy monitoring and ensure proper job configuration, starting from Release 2.1G and onward. Exceptions for specific program availability are also noted, with alternatives suggested for earlier versions.
