Purpose
Using the example archiving object BC_SBOOK, this read program shows howa specific object indicated by the user can be accessed rapidly (in thiscase a flight booking).
The program first searches for the requested flight booking in thedatabase and then in the archive, should the object not reside in thedatabase. The archive access is performed using an index (infostructureof the Archive Information System).
