Archiving Revenue Recognition Tables: Delete Program

Purpose
This program deletes revenue results table entries from the databaseafter they have been written to the archive file by the write program.
The BAdI "SD_VBREV_WRITE" can be used with the method "DELETE" forADD-ON-specific checks.

Activities

Procedure:
1. Use F4 to choose a variant with which the program should be started.
If no variants are yet available, create one with the Maintainpushbutton. (You can find information on the procedure on the F1 help onthe Variant field.)
2. Use the Start Date pushbutton to define when you want the job to run.
3. Use the Spool Parameters pushbutton to define how you want thearchiving log to be managed. If the delete program is triggeredautomartically by the archiving program, these spool parameters are alsovalid for the delete program log.

4. Under Customizing -> Technical Settings, you can make additionalsettings, such as the size of the archive file, logical file name,connection to archive link, and automatic starting of the deleteprogram.
5. Customizing -> Client-(In)Dependent File Name/Paths, takes you to themaintenance of logical file names/paths (transaction FILE(client-independent), SF01 (client-dependent)).
6. Choose Execute in order to create the job with the configured values.
All jobs that are available in job management for the current archivingprogram are displayed in the Job Overview.
