Description
This program creates an index for archive files in which versions ofRepository objects were stored.
These indexes are necessary for reading and displaying individualversions from the archive, for example, when you choose Displayor Compare in the version overview, for a version that hasalready been archived.
Normally an index is created automatically during archiving. You onlyneed to create the index with this program if the index was deletedearlier.

Precondition
Versions of Repository objects were deleted at some time, and thearchive file index was deleted.

Procedure
The program is started from archive management:
Choose Administration -> System administration ->Administration -> Archiving.
Enter VERSIONS in the field Object name.
Choose Index.
Select the required archive files with Archive selection.
Maintain the start date and the spool parameters and run the program.It is executed in the background.

Output
The versions contained in the processed archive files are output in thespool list.
