SAP Program RPUPCCN0 - Address Data Check (NL)

Title
Address Data Check and Correction (NL)

Purpose
Report RPUPCCN0 can be used to check and correct the addresses ininfotype Address Data (0006) based on the data stored inthe CAM system (Central Address Management). This SAP-specific systemcontains all address data
, such as postal and municipality code and street. It does not, however, contain person-related data. This is not included in the SAP standarddelivery but is supplied by external organisations such as TPG orCendris, who also supply regular updates.

Prerequisites
One prerequisite is that the system uses Central Address Management. Forfurther information, see notes 430024 and 432781.

Features
To start the report enter a selection of personnel numbers or a wholepayroll area. The system will check whether the addresses belonging toeach personnel number entered corresponds to the address data stored inCentral Address Management. By entering a date for parameter 'CheckAddresses from' you prevent the check of records in the past.
The report also has the option to automatically change incorrectaddresses. This is controlled via the checkbox "Create Batch InputSession". If you select this checkbox, all changes will be saved in abatch input session. When the session is processed, the relevantinfotypes will be updated. The overview displays all addresses in thebatch input session.
First, the report checks if sufficient data are available for thepostcode check (minimal requirements: house number). Also the postcodefield or street field and city field must be filled.
If the required data are available the check is carried out in thefollowing order:
Do address data and postcode match? If the combination exists in CAM,any anomalous street and city data will be corrected (by means of abatch input session).
If the combination does not exist in CAM, the system checks if thepostcode/house number combination exists as P.O. Box in CAM. If this isthe case 'P.O. Box' will be entered in the street field and the datawill be corrected (by means of a batch input session).
The report checks all selected personnel numbers and displays theresults. One of the following three error message types may occur:

  • Error message with description

  • Warning that the address has been corrected

  • Message that the address has been checked and found to be correct.

  • You can double-click on a message to query the record concerned ininfotype Address Data (if no error occurred), or change it (if anerror occurred or if a warning was displayed).
You can change the layout of the results and save it in a variant. Setarameter 'Layout Variant' if you want to use the display variant whenstarting the report. It is possible to include this in a selectionvariant of the report. .
