Title Purpose If you have run payroll in the Off-Cycle Workbench, the system writesall the required information on the payroll results to the indicatortable for off-cycle batch processing (T52OCG). This report furtherprocesses the results from this table by creating processes in theHR Process Workbench>. For these processes, the report uses aprocess model in which you have already defined all the subsequentprograms for off-cycle payroll.Integration The report is started following payroll runs that you have carried outin the Off-Cycle Workbench. Prerequisites In Customizing for Payroll> under Off-Cycle Activities ->Create Process Model for Subsequent Process ing in Off-Cycle Payroll>, you have copied the model process modelHR Process ModelOff-Cycle, Subsequent Programs Payroll> in the standard system to thecustomer name range, and, if necessary, adjusted it to meet therequirements of your business processes.Features The report reads data from the indicator table for off-cycle batchprocessing and creates processes using the process model that youspecify in the selection screen. The process model specifies whichsubsequent programs the system is to run, and in which order. Selection You can restrict the subsequent processing of off-cycle payroll byusing payroll types>, for example, if different employees areresponsible for administering bonus accounting and correction runs andwant to run the report separately. Note If you want the system to carry out a different subsequent processingfor one payroll type only, for example, correction run>, you mustdefine a specific process model. You then run the report for thispayroll type using this process model. You must specify the relevant process model>. We recommend that you do not make any further restrictions in thePayroll area> and Personnel number> fields in the livesystem, since off-cycle subsequent processing must be run for allemployees. You can, if required, make further restrictions in the testsystem.Standard_variants Output You obtain an output list that shows which process the system has usedfor its subsequent processing of which off-cycle payroll results. Activities Enter the required data and execute the report. We recommend that youschedule the report, for example, at the end of the working day, as aregular background job. Then, in the HR Process Workbench>, check the processes that thesystem has used for subsequent processing. The relevant number for eachof the processes is displayed in the output list.Example Following off-cycle payroll runs that you have executed in theOff-Cycle Workbench, the system should regularly create remunerationstatements, print checks and finally post payroll results toAccounting>. You copy the SAP process model HR Process Model Off-Cycle,Subsequent Payroll Programs> to the customer name range. The processmodel contains the programs that execute the required subsequentprocessing. You also copy the program variants to the customer namerange. You schedule this report as a regular background job that is runat the end of each working day. Under Type of subsequent processing >, you mark the Payroll> field and enter your customer-specificprocess model under Parameters for process model>. You do notmake any further restrictions. After each working day, the system carries out the required subsequentprograms. At the start of the next working day, you check in the HRProcess Workbench>, whether the subsequent processing was correctlyexecuted. If required, you make corrections. |
