Description
The conversion program activates the input mode of the Positionfield in the Events (0000) infotype if at least one of thefields Personnel area, Employee group, or Employeesubgroup is flagged as ready for input. You can set this flag in thePersonnel Event table (T529A). The Position field appearsin the Events infotype (0000) only if integration to PersonnelPlanning (PD) is activated.
You can start the conversion program as often as you want.
From release 3.0D to 3.1G, the input mode of the Position fieldin the Events infotype (0000) was defined indirectly. If atleast one of the fields Personnel area, Employee group,or Employee subgroup was ready for input, then thePosition field was also in the input mode.
As of release 3.1H, the input mode of the Position field can becontrolled independently of the input mode of the other fields oforganizational assignment via the Personnel Event table (T529A).
