Purpose This report allows you to create resources in the WFM Core system forany employees. For these resources, you can transfer availability information frommySAP HR Time Management, such as working times and break times fromthe work schedule and daily work schedule, to the WFM Core system. Integration
- This report supports the Absences> (2001), Attendances>
(2002), and Availability> (2004) infotypes from mySAP HR TimeManagement.
- Availability information is transferred to the WFM Core planning engine
in APO. Caution: If, in addition to WFM Core, you want to use additional APOapplications, APO and the WFM Core must run in two separate SAPsystems.
- You use Resource Planning in CRM or cProjects Resource Management in
PLM. Recommendation: You can use mySAP HR Organizational Management to group employees whoseavailability information you want to transfer.Prerequisites
- You have installed APO on a separate system and configured the WFM Core
system. For more information, see the Implementation Guide for WorkforceManagement Core (WFM Core)> or in SAP Note 0505748.
- You have set up an RFC connection.
Features
- This report enables you to create any employees as resources in the WFM
Core system.
- For these resources, you can transfer availability information from
infotypes, subtypes, and work schedules to the WFM Core system. To ensure that the availability information remains up-to-date, werecommend you periodically schedule a background job (for example, every night). Note that, in this instance, data in the selected period isoverwritten.
- In the standard system, data is transferred as a background job
(asynchronous transfer of data). For test purposes, you can execute thetransfer in the foreground (synchronous transfer).
- You can delete resources and their availability information completely.
However, note that data is deleted irrespective of the selected period.
- The report offers a query for checking transferred data.
- Availability information is divided into individual packages for the
transfer. If an error occurs, you can continue the transfer from wherethe error occurred. You can specify the size of the package. The systemensures that personal data for one person is contained within onepackage.Standard_variants Output Customizing the Report In the Time Data Structure for LRP Time Descriptions> table(PTLRPRC2SP), you can determine:
- How infotypes and subtypes are mapped to the time specification types
in the WFM Core system
- How the work schedule (working times and breaks) is mapped to the time
specifications To transfer infotypes to the WFM Core system, you must make thefollowing settings in the Time Data Structure for LRP TimeDescriptions> table (PTLRPRC2SP): In the Infotype> field, enter the HR infotype. In the Subtype> field, enter the HR subtype. In the LRP Time Type for Working Time> field, enter the timespecification type from the WFM Core system that should be used foravailabilities/non-availabilities. In the LRP Time Type for Break Time> field, enter the timespecification type from the WFM Core system that should be used forthis infotype. To transfer working times and break times to the WFM Core, you mustmake the following settings in the table: RESET N1 In the Infotype> field, enter the ID for the work schedulePWS>. In the Subtype> field, enter the Customizing key for the dailywork schedule, for example, FLEX>. In the LRP Time Type for Break Time> field, enter the timespecification type from WFM Core that is to be used for break times. Example:> An infotype can be transferred to availabilities (for example, overtime) or non-availabilities (for example, leave). The WFM time typefor breaks specifies how the break description of the appropriateinfotype is depicted (for example, breaks in overtime).Running the Report Creating Resources:>> Before you can transfer availabilities, you must have created theresources you require in the WFM Core system.
