Pay Scale Classification

Description
This report creates a list of pay scale classifications of employees.

Features
The report evaluates the Basic Pay infotype (0008) withthe Basic contract subtype (0).

Selection
In the Selection field, enter which employees are to beevaluated. You can use the following fields:

  • Personnel number

  • Employment status

  • Under Additional data, you can enter data to determinehow the selected data is to be evaluated. You can use the followingfields:
    • Nationality

    • Country grouping

    • Pay scale area

    • Pay scale type

    • Pay scale level

    • Only new entries in time period

    • Nationality

    • Country grouping

    • Pay scale area

    • Pay scale type

    • Pay scale group

    • Pay scale level

    • Only new entries in time period

    • This field is useful if you want an overview of where new employees fitinto the pay scale.
      You can run the report either on a generic or gender basis.

      Standard_variants
      Certain fields in the selection screen of the report already containdefault values. The system proposes the following selections:

      • Use today indicator to evaluate the current day.

      • Use the Employment status indicator to evaluate all
      • employees with employment status 1 (inactive employee), 2(pensioner), or 3 (active employee).
        • Use the Both genders indicator to perform a generic
        • selection.

          Output
          The evaluation results are displayed in a table.
          A table is displayed for each pay scale area. A line is created foreach pay scale type. If you run a generic report, the list contains thecolumns male, female, and all
          . The results are displayed in absolute figures and percentages.
          The last column of the table shows the length of time the employee hasbeen in that pay scale type.
          If the selected employees belong to more than one pay scale area, thetable displays a summary of the relevant individual tables. The numberof employees selected for the report is also shown here.
          If personnel numbers could not be included in the report, the systemcreates an error list at the end, displaying the individual personnelnumbers and the reason for the rejection.
