Description
This report creates a list of employee's birthdays in a selectedperiod, where the system suggests an evaluation within the currentmonth.
You select the employee by making an entry in the Personnel number
field. Enter the desired personnel number or range of numbersthere.
You can also limit your search by making further entries underSelection. In the Pers.area/subarea/cost centerControlling area/position and Employee group/subgroupfields enter combined entries (for example, 0001151510156 in theControlling area/position field).
You also have the following search options:

• Generic search with *:

If you want to evaluate all the cost centers in the controlling area0001, enter 0001*.

• Masked search with +:

If you want to evaluate part of the cost centers in the controllingarea 0001 abbreviate the cost center entry and replace thenumber of missing characters with + (i.e. 151510+++).
By making entries in Additional Data you can make the reportoutput suit your own needs. To do this, flag the Sort acc. tomonth/day and One page per month indicators.
You can further restrict the evaluation by making entries in theDate type ex specifications field.

Output
A list is issued, which displays the personnel number, the name, theentry date, the date of birth and the current age for all selectedemployees in the standard evaluation. When the employees age is a roundfigure (i.e. divisable by 5) the relevant line in the table ishighlighted in color.
The reporting period is displayed above the table. The number ofselected employees is displayed at the end of the list underreconciliation totals.
If you have flagged the Sort acc. to month/day indicator, aseparate table is displayed for each month of the selected time period.Within each table the birthdays are sorted in ascending order accordingto day and month.
If you have also flagged the New page per month indicator, aseparate page per month is printed.

Special features
When you use the matchcode G as an access path, other specificationsfor date selection are not taken into account. The start and end of thedata and person selection time period are set internally by the systemto the start and end of the current year.
You cannot use the standard sort Sort: Type of field names whenusing the indicator Sort acc.to month/day.
