Income Declaration Form for Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS)

Purpose
Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS) is a voluntary contributionscheme introduced by the Singapore government. The SRS is effectivefrom April 1, 2001. Participants can contribute varying amounts to SRS(subject to a cap). For an employee to participate in the SRS scheme,the employer has to issue an Income Declaration Form to theemployee.
This report generates the Income Declaration form required for the SRS.The form is submitted by the employee to the SRS operator, whodetermines the SRS contribution capping applicable for the employee.

Integration

  • If T522F table has been configured, the naming format will be
  • picked up from there. Otherwise, the report will read the PersonalData Infotype (0002) for the name format, which is Personnel no.
    dependent.
    • The report will read the Permanent residence address from
    • Addresses Infotype (0006) and populate the Residentialaddress field of the form.
      • The Total annual OW (Ordinary Wages) and Total annual AW
      • (Additional Wages) are read from the cluster and printed on the form.
        • This report uses Evaluation Class 9.
        • Prerequisites
          You must have maintained the format in which your employees' names areprinted on the Income Declaration Form. To do this, in Customizing forPersonnel Management, go to Personnel Administration ->Personal Data -> Name Format -> AssignName Formatting to Programs.

          Features

          • If the employee is working overseas, you must tick the checkbox in the
          • selection screen and this is printed in the form.
            • If the detail of the wages received by the employee is for a period
            • less than 12 months, then provide the period and a reason for the same.
              • Enter the Name, Telephone No. and the Designation
              • of the person, who is authorized to make an income declaration for theemployee on the employer#s behalf. By default, the report reads thecurrent date as the Declaration date, but you can enter your owndate.These are printed as Employer's Declaration in the form.
                • Part II of the form will not be populated by the report. The
                • printed form has to be filled by the employee, in case he/she is aforeigner. The employee has to give a written declaration of his/herforeign status for the calculation of his/her SRS contribution cap.

                  Activities
                  From SAP Easy Access menu, choose Human Resources ->Payroll -> Asia/Pacific -> Singapore ->
                  Subsequent activities -> Annual -> Reporting ->SRS Report.
