Purpose You can use this program to check the consistency of your formscenarios. The program checks all settings in connection with formscenarios. This includes:
- The definition of the form scenario
- The definition of the linked ISR scenario
- The definition of the backend service used in the form scenario
The result of the check is displayed in a log. If there are errors inCustomizing, corresponding error messages are output. For a moredetailed description of the error, you call the long text of the error(if it exists). Any errors in Customizing must be corrected in eachcase. If not, the form scenario cannot run. Warnings can also be output in the log. Warnings refer to incomplete orinconsistent entries in Customizing. In general, the form scenario canstill run - with restrictions - with these inconsistencies. However, youshould resolve the inconsistencies in each case as the scope of thefunctions of the form scenario can otherwise be restricted, or it canlead to problems in the future when changing to a new release.Prerequisites You have defined a form scenario using the IMG activityCreate Form Scenario>. The form scenario islinked with an ISR scenario that you created using the IMG activityCreate ISR Scenario>.Selection You can either check a specific form scenario or a group of formscenarios. If you want to check a specific form scenario, proceed as follows:
- Enter the name of the form scenario. If necessary, use F4 Help.
- Set the Check Last Version Only> indicator if you only want to
check the last existing version (in other words, the version with thehighest version number).
- Alternatively, you can also enter the version number directly. If you do
not enter a version number, all existing versions are checked. If you want to check several form scenarios simultaneously, proceed asfollows:
- Enter the name of the form scenarios. Use the multiple selection for
this.
- Set the Check Last Version Only> indicator if you want to check
the last existing version for each form scenario (in other words, theversion with the highest version number).
- It is not possible to specify a version number explicitly. If you do not
set the Check Last Version Only> indicator, all existing versionsare checked. Then run the consistency check.Output When the consistency check is finished, the result is displayed in alog. If the Customizing is consistent, a message appears stating this. If errors occurred or inconsistencies were found, relevant errormessages or warnings appear stating this. Correct all of the issues andthen run the program again to check that the errors were resolvedcompletely.
