Title Rebuild logical inventory valuation segment (table OIA07) Purpose The report rebuilds logical inventory valuation segment OIA07. It reads and analyzes the existing exchange transaction data: - Material movements for borrow/loan exchanges - Logical inventory adjustments (UPE) - Logical inventory revaluations Prerequisites Company codes and plants have to be selected to restrict the scope ofthe rebuilding process. Materialnumber can be entered to restrict the scope additional. For checking purposes, you can choose the test mode to recalculatethe logical inventory without updating the database. If the test modeflag is on and the results in the list are correct, you can update the OIA07by the activate button in the list. You didn't have to run the report a second time. If the test mode flag is off the update of the tableOIA07 takes place automatically. The second test flag "without BSEG sum" means: At the end of thereport the sum of the whole relevant BSEG items is confronted with the total amount of logical inventory postings. This flag prevents that the whole relevant BSEG items is read (performance aspect). We recommend that the report be executed in the background, becauseit can take a very long time. If the reports runs no posting should take place which influences the table OIA07. Features Output The report lists the recalculated logical inventory records with the summary. In addition, the total amount of logical inventory postings is displayed so that it can be checked against the financial balance. The report protocol contains logical inventory records with zero quantities. They are deleted from the logical inventory valuation segment OIA07 and therefore marked in the deletion column. |
