Description The public list lets you search for patients who are present at acertain time. Procedure You can select different criteria for the evaluation:
- Restriction to one or more institutions
- Date and time for which the public list is to be created
Select the refresh symbol to enter the current date and system time.
- You can further restrict the evaluation in the Patient Search
Criteria> dialog box and by selecting one or a combination oftypes of presence: Inpatients Present: Patients who were admitted as inpatients and have not yet beendischarged; patients who have a planned inpatient stay on the key date(other planned movements are not taken into account); patients who areon leave of absence are indicated separately. Day Patients Present: Patients who were admitted as day patients and have not yet beendischarged; patients who have a planned day-patient stay on the keydate other planned movements are not taken into account); patients whoare on leave of absence are indicated separately. In-/Day Patients Discharged You can determine the number of days that have passed since dischargewith the since days> field. Planned Discharges: Planned discharges for patients present Outpatients Present: Patients who are present for an outpatient visit on the key date. Show Absences Absent patients are indicated.
- You can sort the list alphabetically (by patient name) or by OU.
To call the public list, choose the Execute icon. INCLUDE ISH_EXTRACT_REP OBJECT DOKU ID TXPrecondition For the institutions you select, the system ignores those for which youdo not have authorization. If you have authorization for organizationalunits for which the Data Protection> flag is set, these areindicated as such in the resulting list. The institution-specific, time-independent parameter ADR_BER>controls whether the patient's address can be displayed within aninstitution. For further information, refer to the ImplementationGuide> for IS-H under MaintainInstitution-Specific, Time-Independent Parameters>. With the client-specific, time-independent parameter FRISTPFL>you can specify a period of a number of days within which dischargesare taken into account. The program has a default value of 5>.For further information, refer to the Implementation Guide for IS-H > under Maintain Client-Specific,Time-Independent Parameters>.Output Patients for whom the Public list block> indicator has beenselected are shown in the basic list. The basic list contains the following information:
- Name, birthdate, sex
- Case number
- Nursing organizational unit, room and telephone
- Admission and discharge dates
You can process the basic list as follows:
- Sort the list alphabetically instead of according to organizational
unit: select Alphabetical order> (or the other way round)
- Create a restricted list:
Restricted list> opens a dialog box which lets you enterrestrictions based on name, first name, sex, organizational unit ortype of stay. Only data from the basic list is used for evaluation. In a restricted list, you can also view patients for whom the Publiclist block> has been set. You can go from one restricted list to another. However, you alwaysreturn to the basic list.
