Description The report IS-H: Batch Input Session for Mapping Services in TableNTPZ> (RNILST01) lets you fill the table IS-H: Service CatalogLine Items: Assignments and Groupings> (NTPZ) from a sequentialdataset.Precondition If the length of a record of the sequential dataset exceeds 1024 bytes,you have to modify the length of the buffer variable REC accordingly inthe Include report RNILSI10. Some preconditions need to be met before you can map services:
- Both service codes must be defined in the system.
- The service to be mapped must be defined in the service catalog 1
within the mapping interval.
- The same applies to the target service.
- If mappings already exist for the service in question, the mapping
interval must match the existing one. Note that as concerns the item specifications made, the report alwaysassumes that numbering starts at 0.Features Selection
- If you wish to start by simply testing the import of the sequential
dataset, set the Test Mode> indicator. In this case, the systemdoes not make any changes in the database.
- If you set the Full Log> indicator, the system logs all mappings.
- If you set the Error Log> indicator, the system logs any errors
that may have occurred.
