Description In the standard SAP CO component, you can define cost estimates for IS-Hservices using base object costings. If you enter a service for a casein IS-H that has a base object costing in CO, this program allows you totransfer this base object costing into the order of the case. If a case has several services for which a base object costing exists, the system adds the relevant base object costings to the case-basedorder. If you run the program in test mode, it shows you which costobject-based service it would transfer to which case-based order inproduction mode. Note that changes to the services of a case do not automatically resultin the case-based order being changed (with regard to the base objectcosting). The changes only take effect the next time the program isexecuted. Precondition To transfer base object costings into case-based orders, the followingrequirements must be satisfied both in CO and IS-H: Requirements in CO
- The base object costing you wish to transfer must exist in CO. For this
purpose, use the base object costing and simulation costing functions ofCO.
- The corresponding case-based orders in CO must exist for the cases to be
processed. You create the case-based orders in IS-H. Depending on howyour system is configured, this is done either manually when theadmission is saved, or on demand periodically by means of the HCO:Create Orders >program.Requirements in IS-H
- The service for which you wish to transfer the base object costing into
the case-based order must be flagged as a cost object in the servicemaster.
- You have stipulated in Customizing for IS-H that you are using
case-based orders.
- In the system settings for IS-HCO, you must assign the IS-H service to
the base object costing in CO.
- You must maintain the configuration for the event HCO009 (Change Order
Planning).Output The program takes into account all cases that satisfy your selectioncriteria and the requirements as described above. The program outputs a list of the cases for which cost object-basedservices exist, but whose base object costing has not yet beentransferred into the corresponding case-based orders. The list alsoshows which base object costing is transferred for which costobject-based service into which case-based order. If a case does not have any services, to which a base planning object isassigned, the program simply deletes any base object costing thatexists. Even if there are no base object costings, a corresponding entryappears in the output list.
