Description The following functions can be carried out for cost object master data:
- set deletion flag
- remove (delete) deletion flag
- set deletion indicator
Parameters
- cost object:
Enter the cost object for which the function is to be executed. Depending on the type of cost object, one or more cost objects will beprocessed: If this is a hierarchical> cost object, the function will becarried out on all cost objects below> this node in thehierarchy. If this is a cost object without a hierarchy>, the function willonly be carried out on the cost object you entered.
- Process control:
Select the desired function.
- Further settings:
If you set the Test run> indicator, the master data of the costobjects on the database will not be changed. If you do not set this indicator, any changes to the master data willbe saved on the database.Procedure Enter the cost object you want to process. Choose the desired function. If you want the master data of the cost objects to be saved to thedatabase immediately, do not set the test run indicator. Note that once you set the deletion indicator, you cannot> resetit! If you want to carry out processing in test run mode, set the Testrun> indicator.Precondition To execute the function, you must have authorization to maintain costobject master records of the corresponding cost object category. The cost objects to be processed must fulfill the followingrequirements for the individual functions:
- Set deletion flag:
The deletion flag in the cost object master record must not be set. The balance of the actual data of the incorporated cost object must bezero. That is, the actual data must be completely settled ordistributed, for example. If this is a hierarchical> cost object, the followingrequirements must also be met: For each of the higher-level cost objects in the hierarchy above>this node as well as for each cost object in the hierarchy below>this node, the balance of the actual data must be zero. No single objects can be assigned in the hierarchy below this node.
- Remove deletion flag:
The deletion flag in the cost object master record must be set, but notthe deletion indicator. If this is a hierarchical> cost object, the deletion flag mustnot be set for any of the higher-level cost objects in the hierarchyabove> this node.
