Selection options
The selection screen is divided into 2 areas:

  • Data selection: You can specify criteria to restrict the data records
  • to be evaluated.
    • Output control: You can specify criteria on the outline or
    • summarization levels for the list.

      Data selection options:

      • Period (required field)

      • The report evaluates subscriptions in this period.
        • Subscription sales document type

        • You can make restrictions according to certain subscription types; ifyou do not make any entries, all subscription sales document types areevaluated.
          • Sales organization/distribution channel/division

          • You can specify selection criteria relating to the sales organization, distribution channel and division; if you do not specify any criteria, the report processes all subscriptions regardless of these factors.
            • Normal delivery country

            • Here, you can restrict the subscriptions evaluated according to thecountry to which deliveries are normally made (e.g. in the case ofredirections to foreign countries, your entry here would be the countryin the "standard order item"); if you leave this field blank, thereport processes all subscriptions regardless of the country.
              • Publication

              • The publications specified here are included in the evaluation; if youdo not specify any publications, the report evaluates all of them.

                  • Flag the appropriate fields to restrict the dataset to standard items, free items (with or without automatic transformation to chargeable) andtrial items (with or without automatic transformation to chargeable) orcombinations of the three; you must select at least one item type.
                    • Reversed orders: include all / include if delivered / ignore

                    • These criteria allow you to determine how reversed orders (which mayhave been delivered up to reversal) are to be processed.
                      • Include backdated orders

                      • If you select this parameter, the report takes account of backdatedsubscription orders from the start date of validity (or more precisely, before the regular start of delivery).
                        • Include orders where delivery not viable

                        • If you select this parameter, the statistics include subscriptionorders for which delivery was not viable in the analysis period.
                          • Order number (for test)

                          • For test purposes, you can restrict selection to individual orders. Ifyou select individual orders or only a few orders here, you can alsorun the statistics program in dialog.

                            Options for output control

                            • Include weighted partial subscriptions

                            • This parameter controls whether partial subscriptions (such as Saturdaysubscriptions) are counted according to the partial subscriptionweighting specified in the mix offers for the edition or whether thepurchase quantities for partial subscriptions are to be counted infull.
                              • Postal code area evaluation variant

                              • To display a number of sublists (see below), you need to specify apostal code area evaluation variant. The subscriptions in the relevantlists are totaled according to the postal code areas defined in theevaluation variant.
                                • Generate list 'Transactions by sales source'

                                • You can create these statistics by selecting the summarization level'Publication' and/or 'Edition'; if you select both options, the reportdisplays a totals sheet for all editions each time the publication ischanged. Summation of subscriptions is performed according to thevarious sales sources.
                                  • Generate list 'Transactions by sales promotion and sales source'
