SAP Program RJ-J2NEU - IS-M/SD: LIS Reorganization from Correction Orders

Description
Program RJ-J2NEU can be used to reorganize information structures fromold documents. It reads IS-M/SD correction orders (complaints andreturns) and updates the statistical data in the information structuresas if the documents had been created.
The program currently only processes correction orders that areresident in the system; archived correction orders cannot be processedfor reorganization at present.
For detailed information on the procedure for reorganizing informationstructures, please see Reorganizestatistical data in the section of the IMG dealing with the MediaInformation System.

Function details

  • Version for reorganization

  • The program reads the selected correction orders and triggers thestatistics update. The difference between this procedure and the onlineupdate is that the statistical data in an onling update are recordedunder version and in a reorganization run under a version number youspecify on the selection screen. The version specified forreorganization must either begin with '&(' or be the number '000' sinceall others are reserved for planning functions.
Version '000' is the version under which 'productive actual data' ismanaged in the Logistics Information System. This means that data thathas already been updated may still exist after the reorganization ifyou did not explicitly specify version '000' on the selection screen.
    • Redetermining update groups and updating documents

    • You can specify on the selection screen whether the program is toredetermine the update groups for the correction orders (parameter'Redetermine update group') and update them in the correction orders(parameter 'Update orders'). If you select these parameters, changesmade in customizing since the correction orders were recorded are takeninto account in the reorganization run and entered in these documents.(However, it is not possible to update archived documents.)
      • Delimiting run time

      • You can specify on the selection screen when the program is to cancelthe reorganization run ('Cancellation date' and 'Cancellation time').For example, you could specify for a run that continues over a weekendthat the reorganization is to be cancelled on Monday morning whenonline operations resume. This is particularly important if thecorrection orders are locked during the run (see below). The status atthe cancellation time is recorded in a table (TMCW3) so that you cancontinue processing later by specifying a run name ('Run name').
        • Lock all correction orders

        • You can select the parameter 'Lock all orders' to prevent correctionorders being changed while the information structures are beingreorganized. You can leave the parameter blank for test runs.
          • Error handling

          • If the program identifies a document containing an error (for example, the customer in the document does not exist), it writes the document tothe batch log and the document is not included in reorganization.

            Precondition
The program should only be run in the background. Exception: Testsystem with small dataset.
When running the report, please note the steps described in the IMGstep Reorganize statistical data.
