Description Program RJ-J1NEU can be used to reorganize information structures usingold documents. The program reads IS-M/SD sales orders and updates thestatistics data in the information structures as if new documents hadbeen created. The program currently only processes sales orders that are recorded inthe system; archived sales orders cannot currently be reorganized. For detailed information on the procedure for reorganizing informationstructures, please see Reorganizestatistical data> in the section of the Implementation Guide dealingwith the Media Information System.Functional details
- Version for reorganization
The program reads the selected sales orders and starts the statisticsupdate. The difference between this procedure and online updating isthat the statistical data is recorded under the version '000' in anonline update and under a version number you specify on the selectionscreen in a reorganization run. The version specified for areorganization must either begin with '&(' or be the number '000',since all others are reserved for planning functions. Version '000' is the version under which 'productive actual data' canbe managed in the Logistics Information System. This means that datathat has been updated may still be recorded after the reorganization ifyou did not explicitly specify version '000' on the selection screen.
- Determining new update groups and updating documents
You can specify on the selection screen whether the program is toredetermine the update groups for the sales orders (parameter'Redetermine update group') and update them in the sales orders(parameter 'Update orders'). If you select these parameters, changes incustomizing that were made since the sales orders were recorded in thesystem are included in the reorganization and entered in the documents. However, archived documents cannot be updated. Caution:> The update group must be redetermined for sales ordersrecorded before IS-M/SD release 3.04, since the update group is notentered in these documents in previous releases.
- Restriction of run time
You can specify on the selection screen a date and time at which theprogram is to terminate the reorganization run ('Cancellation date' and'Cancellation time'). For example, you can specify for a run thatcontinues over a weekend that reorganization is to be cancelled onMonday morning when online operation is resumed. This is particularlyimportant if the sales orders are blocked while reorganization istaking place (see below). The status at the time of cancellation isrecorded in a table (TMCW3) so that you can continue processing laterby specifying a run name ('Run name' field).
