Copying Current Required Positions into a Planning Type

Purpose
This report is particularly useful in the following case: If, when youcall up the planning tool, there are no quota planning figures in thedatabase, the system displays the current quota figures in planning.These values, however, are not yet in the database.
Using this report you can copy the current quota figures for aparticular organizational unit or organizational structure into aplanning type and therefore make them available in the database.
Seen technically, for each organizational unit, the system adds thesubtype entered in the target planning type to infotype 1019.

Prerequisites
The target planning type must be defined in Customizing. SeeDefine Planning Type and Periods.

Features

Selection
Using the target planning type parameter, you can specify theplanning type into which you want to copy the current requiredpositions data. Note that you can only copy data to the active targetplanning type.

Output
For the organizational unit(s) concerned, the system issues a listshowing if the current required positions data was successfully copiedinto a planning type.

Warnung
Bear in mind that copying overwrites any data already present in thetarget planning type.
