Title Versioning Support of Excel Communication Purpose This program contains activities that are necessary for versioning. The program processes the excel version that already exists and deleteslines from the dependent table sheets for change reasons and notes thatrefer to budget structure elements whose entry was already deleted inthe basis data table. At the end of a planning phase, the "vacant"change reasons and notes are deleted. After running the program, two other activities must be started inorder to close the transition to a new planning phase.
- Dragging a new version of the excel file using the BDS
- Opening a new version and deleting all change reasons.
Integration The program should be used as part of the excel communication forposition planning. Features Selection You can choose one or more budget structure elements, as well as thefinancial year on the initial screen. For each budget structureelement, the system checks whether exactly one infotype 1517 (excelcommunication) is assigned to this budget structure element in thefinancial year. If this prerequisite is not complied with for just oneof the budget structure elements, an error message is issued.
